Feature the Theme ‘Taksu Parade behind Tantrian Mask’

The 8th Denpasar FestivalDenpasar Festival (Denfest) will be held again by the government of Denpasar on December 28-31, 2015. The Denfest entering the eight year is focused in the area of Catur Muka statue Denpasar with the theme ‘Taksu behind the Tantrian Mask.’

It was revealed at a joint meeting of the acting mayor of Denpasar A.A. Gede Geriya, Regional Secretary of Denpasar AAN Rai Iswara, agency heads of Denpasar Municipality, and Denfest Event Management at the office of the Mayor of Denpasar, Wednesday (Nov. 18). In the meeting was also outlined various pre-event agendas including Dtik Festival, Pets Festival, Mahabandana Prasada and others.
Opening parade of the festival wswill feature a Tetantrian mask expected to provide a moral virtues and ethics for our young generation. Tantric story is a collection of fables with the characters having been familiar with the life of Balinese people.
Exhibitions and performance implementations are divided into three stages, namely the expressions of music, culture and tradition as well as literature and theater. The exhibition displays the creativity and innovation of Denpasar dwellers including culinary corridor, culinary corridor heritage, endek corridor, mai ngopi (let’s drink coffee) corridor, Denpasar photography, spiritual or ritual corridor, agro corridors and hobbies corridor.www.bali-travelnews.com
