Lebih Beach Festival crowded with visitors

Lebih Beach Festival (LBF) is held again this year. The LBF has entered the fifth implementation and lasted for two days namely on Saturday (Jun. 27) and Sunday (Jul. 28). Various activities were held in order to raise the tourism potential of Lebih area.
Chairman of the LBF V Committee, Wayan Agus Muliana, revealed that a number of problems and constraints are faced in the LBF implementation this time. However, it can be overcome due to the support of community leaders and government.
According to him, a variety of exciting activities graced the LBF V. They included the activities like beach clean-up action, the release of turtle hatchlings, paddle for peace, netting competition, fishing competition, surfing contest, parade of dance and music and photo exhibitions. Interestingly, the paddle for peace involved the surfers of Lebih village. The action of local surfers coalesced into the community of Lebih Surf Club (LSC) grabbed the attention of visitors to the beach.
The moment of LBF moment is vivaciously greeted by the public. Since the first day of the LBF, various activities held on Lebih Beach were always crowded with visitors. They were not only following the activities taking place, but also thronging the area of culinary tourism on the local beach.
A local community leader, Gde Yudantara, said that Lebih village actually has a great potential in the development of tourism sector. The potential includes the marine, culinary to arts and cultural field. In the future, the potential will always be continuously explored and developed so that they can provide positive benefits for the development and Lebih village communities in particular.
“Hopefully, the Lebih village can be persistently developed. One of which is through the quality improvement of the LBF activities. With this kind of event we wished the Lebih village could be known more widely, mainly by travelers,” he said.www.bali-travelnews.com
