June 2015, Lake Tamblingan Ready to Receive Tourists

Arrangement of the Nature Tourism Park (TWA) of Lake Tamblingan will be completed in the upcoming June 2015. After that, the Tamblingan nature tourism consisting of Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan will be ready to accept domestic and foreign travelers. “Besides, it will also be ready to be used as the location of the Twin Lake Festival in June 2015,” said the Regent of Buleleng, Putu Agus Suradnyana, when leading the entire mass clean up in the area of the Tamblingan Lake neighborhood, Friday (May 1).
Thousands of people consisting of the Buleleng officers, students, school students around the Lake Tamblingan, people of the Dalem Tamblingan as well as environmental NGOs took action to clean up the area of Lake Tamblingan. The social action is continuation of the execution to local settlement done previously.
After that, it was resumed with sowing fingerlings and planting pine trees. They totally consist of 20 pairs of tilapia and silver barb, 10,000 fingerlings and 2,000 seedlings of pine. “The nature tourism of Lake Tamblingan is back to be used as water catchment area like the original function and for preservation of its beauty. The government is working hard to do the cleaning and arrangement of the area, so that the sanctity is well maintained, and there is tourism activity which can provide an economic impact for local community while maintaining the environmental sanitation,” said the regent.
Especially for the settlement of displaced residents, the regent Agus has prepared a private land area of 1,500 square meters. As for seven people having no place to live, the BPD Bali and Perbarindo Bali have made house procurement through corporate social responsibility (CSR) mechanism.
